Sunshine Saloon

“The Shine”

In September of 1981, Bob and Heather Rossi acquired the Sunshine Saloon,  keeping its tradition as a 21 and up bar establishment. In 1991 Sunshine was expanded to include the next door property, allowing for the chance to install a game room and kitchen to the historic site. We now feature a charcoal grill, pool tables, shuffleboard, dance floor, and dart boards to enjoy after your meal.

From humble beginnings, Sunshine Saloon has become a name synonymous with Pleasanton California. Long known as the spot to be for watching sports and popular televised events, The Shine also has cemented itself as a go-to restaurant for locals, offering a diverse menu for any taste. Sit down and enjoy your favorite meal while enjoying the game on one of the 30 HD screens set up all around the bar. There is no such thing as a bad seat at Sunshine!

Anyone who has been to Sunshine is eager to share memories of a time here. Sports fans will tell you about cheering with the crowd for pivotal moments of the big game. Co-workers will invite you to come join their trivia team. Your friends will tell you what a great time they had dancing the night away as they sang crowd favorites to acclaim during the karaoke nights.

We invite you to come on down, grab your favorite drink from the bar, and sit down to a delicious meal as you enjoy the game next time you’re in the mood for a good time! Be sure to come by and see Bob, Heather, RB, Freddie and the entire Sunshine Staff; still serving one of the 4 million and counting customers who have stopped by to enjoy Sunshine Saloon.
